The Former Head of the IMF, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, is being held in France for 48 hours while authorities investigate his suspected involvement in a prostitution ring. Once the front-runner in the upcoming French Presidential elections, he has been mired in scandal since his arrest last May in New York, for allegedly engaging in “sex parties” and providing call girls to clients.

Rumors and violence abound amid the latest rift between the Sunni minority and the Shi’a majority in Iraq’s new democratic government. The latest controversy is the warrant issued by Shi’a President Nouri al-Maliki for the arrest of his Vice President, Sunni Tariq al-Hashemi, on the grounds that he and his colleagues ran “death squads.” Currently, al-Hashemi is hiding in Kurish Iraq, while adamantly denying the charges.
As the GOP Primary continues to heat up, a lot of you are asking “Should we leave Santorum alone?”. The republican senator from Pennsylvania has been skewered from all sides (Mitt and Newt, angry gays, this blog), and he is finally saying enough is enough. “The best way to deal with a bunch of bullies,” Santorum did not tell our reporter, “is to stand up to them.” And that’s exactly what Santorum did in his latest ad, entitled “Rombo”, where he portrays Mitt Romney as a mudslinging meanie. The question is did the ad work? Well, check it out below and let me know what you think.
